CONTINUING previous stories that have already covered the beauty of North and Badung Badung Central, this trip will explore the interesting tourist objects in South Badung.
1. Pura Petitenget
Petitenget temple that stood around the 15th century is located in Banjar Batu Belig, Desa Adat Kerobokan, Kuta district. Like many other temples in Bali, Pura Petitenget also become a tourist attraction attractive packing with nature and the unique architecture of the building.
To get to the location of Pura Petitenget, you can ride in motor vehicles from Denpasar toward the west and then south a distance of approximately 10 kilometers. Or from Kuta to the north along the highway Seminyak potato.
2. Coastal tourism
There are many tourist beach in South Badung. Such as Kuta Beach, Jimbaran Beach, Beach Kedonganan, Dreamland Beach, Beach Suluban, Tanjung Benoa Beach, Nusa Dua Beach and Legian Beach, Seminyak and Canggu which is suitable to perform various activities such as swimming, sunbathing, or surfing. Easter Island (Easter Island) is a South Pacific island owned by Chile. The presence of silent rows of statues on this island making it one of the interesting tourist sites owned by Chile. The name of Easter Island is given by the Dutch explorer who discovered it on Easter Sunday 1722. Located in the South Pacific, between Chile and Tahiti, this island is one of the most isolated inhabited island in the world.
Famous Easter Island statues that stand silent on the island. The statues are established by the Rapa Nui society between the 10th century and 16th century AD. A collection of ancient wonders is still not fully understood. When you come here, you can see Ahu Tahai. Ahu (ceremonial platform) at Tahai slope near a boat made of rounded beach stones and is thought to be one of the earliest structures ahu on the island, which comes from 690 AD.
There was also the Ahu Tongariki where 15 of the famous Moai statues standing in military ranks over the flat stone pulpit. Or you can visit the Rano Raraku which is a volcanic crater. The Grand Palace is an historic place in Thailand. Once, this place is the center of government and royal family residence. However, since the early 20th century, the King of Thailand is no longer settled here. Now, the function turned into a museum. This place is located at the Ko Rattanakosin area, an ancient town in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. The Grand Palace complex surrounded by white walls along the 1900 meters.
