1520474620X285More than 40 years ago, when I first visited Bangkok, one of the most impressive tourist attraction for me is the floating market. At that time, Bangkok’s floating market is located at around Wat Arun. Hundreds of traders selling wares from small boats that dikayuh quietly milled around the area. This was indeed the market to meet the everyday needs of local residents.

Unfortunately, year after year, who used the famous floating market in Bangkok this decreases its quality as a tourist attraction. About ten years ago, when I “persuaded” by the water taxi driver to visit the floating market, I was ushered into a traditional market near Wat Sai, Bangkok. Indeed, there is a land market is quite crowded. However, operating to sell merchandise from a small boat on the Chao Phraya river’s child could be counted on fingers. Jualannya was not impressive.
