The roads to Bangkok, Thailand, is not complete if you do not visit the Grand Palace complex. This is the place that became a symbol of Thailand. We refer to this place splendor story.

Former Royal
The Grand Palace is an historic place in Thailand. Once, this place is the center of government and royal family residence. However, since the early 20th century, the King of Thailand is no longer settled here. Now, the function turned into a museum. This place is located at the Ko Rattanakosin area, an ancient town in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. The Grand Palace complex surrounded by white walls along the 1900 meters. Extensive building was erected in 1782 reached 218,000 square meters.

Almost all the buildings in this place of golden yellow. The decor describes traditional Thai culture. Upon entering this place, we can see a giant statue holding a gun. Any buildings and statues in this place was unique.
There are also building a pagoda roof stands firmly with the golden color. This complex consists of three layers. The first layer is the innermost layer of the royal family residence and the most important offices of the kingdom. The second layer is the outer layer of the royal hall and government buildings. The third layer is the outermost area of the temple where there is a statue of Wat Phra Kaew or Emerald Buddha.

Houses For Emerald Buddha Statues In the northern part of this complex, there is the Royal Monastery of the Emerald Buddha. This is a golden mansion as a place for the Emerald Buddha statue. The statue was seen sitting cross-legged on a golden throne in traditional Thai style. There are three Emerald Buddhist statue temple placed alternately in one year. Each statue is placed on the ongoing season, ie summer, monsoon and winter.

Historically, the statue of Emerald Buddha was first discovered by an abbot in a stupa in the city of Chiang Rai, year 1434. Abbot who find this statue to see the statue of plaster on the nose was peeling. From there, he realized that the statue is made of green-colored precious stone. In his mind, the statue was made of jade or emeralds commonly called in English. Whereas, in fact, the statue was made of greenish stone.

This statue had been in Laos for 226 years before King Rama I brought him back to Thailand in 1778. When King Rama I built the city of Bangkok, he set up a special home for the Emerald Buddha statue. Until now, the temple was still functioning as a place of worship for the Buddhist community in Thailand. The Buddhist tourists even took time to pray for a moment.

Obey rules
When my friends come here, you should use a neat clothes. Do not even try, wearing shorts, sleeveless T-shirt, and flip-flops. Surely the officer would not give permission. If you still want to go, the officer will offer lending long cloth, shirts, and footwear used pickup for visitors. But this is not free. We also have open footwear that went into the room where the Emerald Buddha is located. In the sacred places, we can not use the camera. If it broke, get ready just get yelled at officers.
