GO to Bandung do not just stop at the factory outlet for clothes shopping. Try visiting the Museum of Geology to find out about the structure of the earth, including the origins of rocks and minerals contained in the earth.

Geology Museum was originally a Dutch-owned laboratory that has a diverse collection of rocks, minerals, meteorites, fossils, and artifacts that have been collected since the 1850s. On May 16, 1929, Geoligisch Laboratory was inaugurated into a museum with the name Geologisch Museum.

Geology Museum has 6,000 square meters wide. One third of the size of the building is used for displaying the museum’s collection. Currently, the Museum of Geology into a museum with a collection of the most comprehensive geological and mining in Indonesia. Seed collection in this museum is the hominid Homo erectus, fossils of ancient elephants Trigonocephalus Stegodon, and the largest carnivorous dinosaur fossil replicas and terganas, Tyrannosaurus Rex. 2010_12_31_10_46_41_AboriginAFTER decades of hidden, one of the world’s finest collections of art that is an Australian Aboriginal relics will be exhibited in Rome, Italy. When will or were on vacation in Rome, do not forget to visit the Missionary Ethnological Museum which is part of the Vatican Museums (mv.vatican.va). Australian Aborigines actually has sent nearly 300 works of art to Rome for a show the Pope in 1925, but only now on display again. Hundreds of works of art in itself has become the permanent collections of the Vatican Museums.

After renovating the building and restoring works of art, this museum will re-do the exhibition in stages, beginning with the exhibition Ritual of Life, with the works of north and western Australia at the turn of the 20th century. This exhibition will run until December 2011.

Collection of artwork including fine paintings on slate, a skirt of human hair and other everyday objects. One of the highlights is 13 plate-sized slate-painted on two sides with pictures of animals, dancers, and Wandjina is believed to be an ancient spirit who taught the Aborigines for hunting and fishing.

There, you can see the different variants of the condom from time to time as well as demonstration of the importance of using condoms.

Basic establishment of museums in the Ministry of Public Health, Building 9, Department of Medical Sciences, Tivonon Road, Nonthaburi, is of as a means of education in an effort to eliminate the negative point of Thailand on the use of condoms and creating awareness of sexual protection.

Although Thailand is one of the world’s largest condom manufacturer, several studies showed that only 20-30 percent of youth who are sexually active use condoms consistently.

The project was initiated by the Department of Health White Elephant country is expected to increase confidence in using condoms. 2010_11_30_04_21_22_CahokiaSETTLEMENT largest pre-Columbian New World, north of Mexico, Cahokia once had about 120 mounds. Mounds were built for various specific purposes by residents of the area. Curious how the shape and the story, you can visit to Collinsville, Illinois, United States.

Of the estimated number of mounds, one of which is Monks Mound, a mound as high as nearly 100 meters. This mound is the largest earthwork in North America from prehistoric times. Now, Cahokia was the center of culture and religion for an estimated 20,000 people from the cultural traditions of the Mississippi. With an area of more than 2,000 hectares, about 1250 AD, Cahokia say bigger than London.

Concerning the beginning, human settlement Cahokia was first settled around 600 AD and the mound was built some 300 years later. Cahokia settlement is expected to continue to grow until about the end of the 15th century, when the then abandoned for unknown reasons. Read the rest of this entry »
