Poet village on the outskirts of Mount Simanuk-Manuk, about 24 km from Lake Toba. This is one of a number of native Batak village, including Lumban Nabolon, Tonga-Tonga Sirait Uruk, Promise Matogu, Sihubak hubak, Siregar, Sigaol, Silalahi Toruan Estuary and Tomok Sihotang.
The journey to this village, can be accessed from Medan by taxi or public bus to Parapat which will take 4-6 hours. Parapat is a tourist destination town on the shores of Lake Toba, precisely in the area Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra.
