Around the year 1850, came the first group of British prisoners consisted of 75 people to support the formation of colonies (the community) is greater. At that time, it was clear that the building of The Round House can no longer afford to accommodate them. The Round House was still used as a prison until 1886, then converted as a place to police custody till 1900, then used as a police officer and his family lived.
